Stein Club partners with VIctory Fund to Offer ANC Training on July 16
Washington, DC - July 2, 2008 - The Gertrude Stein Democratic Club announced a partnership with the Victory Fund's Gay & Lesbian Leadership Institute to hold a Campaign Workshop for openly LGBT individuals interested in running for Advisory Neighborhood Commissioner in the upcoming fall election.
The ANC training has been scheduled for July 16. Here is the event information:

As elected officials, ANC Commissioners are directly involved in zoning, historical preservation, safety and other issues that impact the quality of life in Washington. The LGBT community can continue to play a positive role in these debates if leaders like you step up to serve.
The Campaign Workshop will feature experienced political operatives, current commissioners and Leadership Institute staffers who have trained hundreds of people to run winning campaigns for public office.
