President called the meeting to order at 7:15 pm.

President’s Report

President welcomed members and special guests. He began his report by thanking all members for participating in the endorsement meetings. He then indicated that most of the agenda will be dedicated to the endorsement for School Board candidates. He then proceeded to explain the rules of the day and began the endorsement process.

The Stein Club held five separate debates with the School board candidates. After the candidates debates, members engaged in a discussion of candidates and then proceeded to voting.

The results were the following endorsements:

Robert C. Bobb - President of Board of Education
Lisa Raymond - District III Member of Board of Education
Jacque D. Patterson - District IV Member of Board of Education

In the first vote, Robert C. Bobb received 60.98%, Jacque D. Patterson received 74.36%. On a second run-off ballot, Lisa Raymond received 66.67%.

The Stein Club also passed a resolution to endorse the entire Democratic slate.

The Stein Club also passed a resolution to support the Disabilty Rights Act being considered by the City Council.
